The Best Day Trip from Perth

I had an amazing day with Laura the explorer visiting Rottnest Island by bicycle. Laura communicate promptly during the planning stage of my trip and was flexible about my available dates for the bike tour. She kept in touch in the days leading up and provided great information about where to meet and what to bring. Once we met up she was incredibly friendly and helpful with the small group that assembled for our tour. We did some great cycling and saw many of the sites including secluded beaches, crystal clear water and interesting historical artefacts as well as the lighthouses, salt lakes and, of course, Quokkas! Lunch was great - both in terms of timing and food. All in all it was a great day. I learned many things that I would not have done had I just rented a bike and set out, and I saw many sites I would not have seen. I highly recommend a tour with Laura the Explorer.

Had a great cycle tour of Rottness island with Laura. Saw beautiful beaches and learned about the history of the island and the local wildlife. I am not the most confident cyclist, especially in the rain, but Laura was very encouraging so I didn't feel bad about walking up some of the bigger hills. We had the opportunity to go snorkeling but it was a bit cool so had a paddle instead. Laura organised everything from the ferry, the bike hire and a lovely lunch so it was so easy. She is a great guide and I really enjoyed the whole day, even got a Quokka selfie! Highly recommend.

I spent an amazing day with Laura exploring Rottnest Island! She was super knowledgeable and so nice, making the whole experience even better. We biked around to some incredible spots, went snorkeling in beautiful locations, and had a delicious lunch. Her company was fantastic, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend spending the day with her—you won’t regret it!

Cannot recommend enough, seeing Rottnest island with a guide is a game changer, it's too easy to miss the good stuff otherwise!

Last time I went on a tour with Laura, we travelled Through Ayers Rock and I had the best time. Literally the best! When I realised she was offering tours in Rottness, I didn’t miss the chance to go out with her! She knows sooooo much, she is soooo funny and she does the best adventures hands down in Australia. Wherever you are, if she is available, don’t think it twice and join her!

Exploring Rottnest with Laura is the way to go! Everything is well planned from the get-go and you just get to enjoy your day. The bike trip is extremely well planned. I know I would have gotten lost without her. Thanks to Laura, I got to see all the highlights of the island, with refreshing swims strategically spaced thorough the ride. The snorkeling in Rotnest is amazing with crystal clear water, colorful fishes and beautiful corals. Laura was able to point to the best snorkel spots during the swim. Laura is extremely knowledgeable and is able to give you the history/background behind different sites as you tour around the island. She is also super attentive and is able to pace/adapt the pace of the ride to your needs. Finally, quokkas are the cutest and with Laura’s help, I absolutely did get the perfect selfie! I absolutely recommend this tour to any newcomers to Rotnest!
